LIMA to PUERTO MALDONADO

We finally arrived in Lima after just over 13 hours in the air with a connecting flight in Santiago. We stayed overnight in the LIMA airport hotel where we all became very familiar with the local cocktail called Pisco sour.....very delicious.

The following morning our wake up call was 5:10 am to prepare for our flight onto Puerto Maldonado. We were met by a local guide on our arrival and driven to their office where we left our suitcases and packed what we needed into smaller bags for our three nights down the Amazon river
We stopped for water on our way to the.boat and here was this cute wee child sound asleep in the middle of the shop while mother served at the counter.
